MANDATE
To formulate integrated economic, social, physical, and other development plans and policies,
conduct continuing studies, researches and training programs, integrate and coordinate all
sectoral plans, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different PPAs, prepare the
comprehensive plans, analyze the income and expenditure patterns and recommend fiscal
plans and policies, promotes peoples participation in development planning and exercise
supervision and control over the secretariat of the Local Development Council.
VISION
To generate and utilize a vast array of information and technology to evolve socio-economic,
physical, cultural and environmental development frameworks and policies and able to work
harmoniously with other agencies, sectors and special bodies to support the development
thrusts of the local government.
MISSION
To plan and formulate development programs for better quality services through the utilization of
accurate database of information with the advancement of technology that will enhance inter departmental coordination in pursuit of responsible and accountable decision making in local
governance.
ORGANIZATIONAL OUTCOME

development plans are implemented with efficiency and effectiveness.
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT CY 2020
The services rendered of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator are the
following:
- Processed and Issued 249 MPDC Certification for New, Residential, Commercial Industrial
and other individual land developments; - Processed 199 Application for Decision on the Certificate of Zoning Compliance;
- Processed 142 Decision on the Certificate of Zoning Compliance;
- Prepared and consolidated monitoring reports and evaluated Development Projects;
- Reviewed 36 Project Proposals and Training Designs;
- Reviewed 16 Barangay Development Plans / Barangay Annual Investment Program;
- Provided public information/data to clients including Government Line Agencies;
- Provided data for Project Development;9. Prepared Annual Investment Program 2021 (AIP), approved by the MDC and submitted
to the SB for concurrence; - Conducted data gathering from barangays for the new format of the Integrated Safe
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (iWaSH) with the technical assistance of the DILG; - Consolidated the Citizen’s Charter Handbook in compliance to RA 9485 also known as
the “Anti-Red Tape Act” 2020 Edition; - Prepared and distributed notices of meetings of various Local Special Bodies;
- Prepared Minutes and Resolutions of various Local Special Bodies;
- Updated FDPP portal quarterly;
- Prepared Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP);
- Participated on the advocacy of LGU – Initiated Environmental Protection/ Resiliency
